2008 Catalina Marathon Here is some helpful information to put any worrisome minds at ease as the 31st Annual Catalina Marathon quickly approaches. REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION Visit http://www.active.com/uploads_search.cfm?UPM_ID=2817&CHECKSSO=0 to confirm your entry for the marathon, 10k, 5k, or Kids Run. Marathon Participants -- Please make sure you double-check your packet pick-up location. You can pick up your packet in either Avalon or Two Harbors, but must notify us prior to the race weekend so we can ensure your packet makes it to the proper registration location. If your name is not found as a confirmed registrant or would like to change your pick-up location, call our office at (714) 978-1528 or send an email to info@pacificsportsllc.com. TRAVEL RESERVATIONS Travel reservations are crucial in making your trip to Catalina as hassle-free as possible. Our 5:00AM race-day boat from Avalon to the Marathon start in Two Harbors is almost sold-out. Make sure to act now if you are still in need of transportation to the start of the race. If you are planning on heading to Catalina on race day, please contact the Marina del Rey Flyer at (310) 305-7250 to coordinate transportation from the mainland straight to the Marathon start in Two Harbors. Spectators are welcome on the early morning MDR Flyer, as the boat will head to Avalon after dropping off participants in Two Harbors. POST RACE PARTY - GET READY TO CELEBRATE Come reward your achievements by attending this year's post race party at the Catalina Canyon Resort & Spa. Enjoy a cold beer and some appetizers on the house. After completing 26.2 miles (or the 5k/10k) in Catalina, you'll have earned it! WHO: All competitors of the Catalina Marathon, 10K & 5K
